The focus of the average safari is obviously the great outdoors with all the wonders of its fauna and flora and the areas frequented therefore don’t often allow for much else in the way of culture, history, or varied scenery and attractions. Having come a long way to Africa or Asia, it is a shame that many visitors leave the continents with very little experience of anything else other then airports, wildlife and a quick overnight in a city hotel!
